We had a perfect vacation! Easy to get to from the airport, the staff is incredible, lots of options for food and drinks. The rooms are new and designed beautifully. Can’t wait to come back!

Smaller resort with excellent service

Excellent service, attentive staff, beautiful amenities, impeccable wide beach with soft sand, clean, plenty food and drink choices,

Not enough choices for activities. The property in front is hardly developed. It would be nice to have more walking paths, gardens, tennis courts, miniature golfing , shuffle board etc. , plus more night shows. The piano or guitar in the lobby was great, but definitely not enough for the whole night to entertain. We enjoyed the Mexican show and the water show.

Fabulous hotel in a great location

Brilliant staff, service and a beautiful hotel. Rooms were very big and comfortable. Plenty of choice whilst still maintaining a sense of privacy and not being too overcrowded.

We couldn’t book into one of the restaurants as it was full. Being there for a limited stay meant that that the Tempest restaurant was effectively unavailable to us .

Beautiful place and excellent service!

The property was absolutely amazing. The room service was free and I didn’t even leave my room to eat half of my meals! The pool and swim up bar were amazing. There’s a beach right outside of the resort with massages, jet skis, and more for an extra price. The food was very high quality for a resort and I would definitely come back again!

The check in process took forever and the language barrier is serious. Beware of scammers even on the resort. I went to a nightclub with a show and it was not worth their over priced tickets. There’s many scammers from the airport to the resort. With the workers, who were amazing, they often leave out important details like reservations for certain aspects of the restaurant or extra charges not listed on the resorts’ app.

Can't wait to come back!

We had the best time at this resort. The rooms were so clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. There were many activities to participate in all day. Yuni always made every activity really fun. We loved hanging by the pool and at the beach which a was clean! The water was gorgeous. The spa was so relaxing. Before our massage, we did the hydrotherapy session. It was a really nice complimentary add-on. What made this stay better than other all inclusive resorts was the food! We really thought the food was excellent. We ate at the sushi, hibachi, Italian restaurants while we were there and all were so good. We also ordered room service for breakfast which was such a nice treat. We loved the craft cocktail bar. The coffee shop had the most cheerful and efficient barista.

We all wished there was a small snack bar by the pool.

Very Good

We stayed at the end of the year for a period of 4 days and 5 nights. As long-time Hyatt customers, it was our fourth visit to Riviera Maya, but the first time staying at a Hyatt in this region. Overall, the experience was good. Positive aspects include the room comfort, the quality of the food, service from restaurant/bar staff, hotel cleanliness, and the distinctive experience at the Italian, Asian, and even the coffee shop. The highlight is definitely the breakfast, with plenty of options for all tastes, including gluten free, natural juices, eggs, pastries, etc!

However, there were some negatives, starting with the check-in on December 26th at 11:00 PM. After a 15-hour flight, we were initially welcomed, but a discrepancy in the room assignment led to us being allocated a room with two single beds instead of a double bed as requested (booking error?). Despite our request for a change, a lady, presumably a manager (I don't recall the name, only that she wore a blue shirt distinct from the rest of the staff), responded rudely. She offered no solution, stating there was no availability for the change and even suggested we look for another hotel at that late hour. We mentioned being Hyatt customers for a long time, but she dismissed our loyalty, citing distrust due to the booking source. In the end, we, the customers, suggested upgrading with an additional payment—surprisingly, there was suddenly availability. Howcome a manager didn't suggest this option to begin with? Is this the customer service one expects from Hyatt? Additional drawbacks include the absence of fresh juices during the day and at meals; only "natural" fruit pulp juices that lacked flavor and seemed too artificial. The spa and beach are okay but not exceptional. The proximity to other resorts sometimes becomes unbearable. Due to the noise from music from a resort next door the beach experience was often quite uncomfortable.

Lack of elevators. Unless I just missed them somehow . There is one that goes to rooms on one End of the hall . I did not see one going down to beach level . No problem for me but if you have knee problems it could be an issue

Augustine at Lola beach cafe was phenomenal As well as Diana assisting us at our beach cabana.

Only things out of our entire stay that weren’t fantastic. 1) Chilaquiles at breakfast were a 6 out of 10. 2) New Year’s Eve performance and music was a 6 out of 10.

Amazing and can’t wait to come back!!

Staff was wonderful! Our second visit and we can’t wait to go back! The rooms are lovely and views are great no matter what side of hotel you’re on. Food is great with fun options! Try the wood fired pizza by the beach! Capri grille and buffet are fantastic. Shoutout to Carla & Mili for arranging fun events, Capri grilles chef Luis and Alejandro are amazing , Jorge at the pool bar and Rolfi in the buffet are fantastic!!
